FAQ’s

How does it work?

Well, it’s pretty simple. We send you a text whenever it’s time to send another card. You just text us a photo and a message and we’ll print the card and ship it to the address you gave us when you signed up.

What is the size of the card?

It’s standard postcard size, so 4 x 6.

What photo should I use?

You can use any photo you want! If you can send it as part of a message, you can send it to us.

How long should my message be?

Ideally, it should be about 420 characters. As a reference, that’s about 6 lines of text in your phone when you’re texting us, or 3 tweets-worth. If you try to send us something more than 450 characters long, you’ll have to try again because it won’t fit on the card.

Will my photo be cropped?

It might be. We’ll automatically resize it to be 4 x 6 which is roughly the dimensions that most smartphones use for photos, so the cropping is usually pretty minimal. To be safe, try to make sure all the good bits of the photo are near the middle.

Can I change the person I’m sending the cards to?

You sure can. Just email us at help@grandsend.com and we’ll get things figured out.

Can I cancel?

I guess so. The only people more disappointed than us will be your grandparents.

Just email cancel@grandsend.com and we’ll make sure to cancel and refund you the rest of your cards.
